In the early 1960s, 13 women took part in a privately funded research project aimed to test and screen women for spaceflight. These women have collectively become known as the Mercury 13 Women. Join us in this fascinating presentation about the Mercury 13 program and these incredible women, some of which went on to become famous aviators such as Jerrie Cobb and Wally Funk.
