What are the Museum’s hours?

What are the admission rates for children, adults, seniors, and students?

Is there a group rate or a family rate?

A pre-registered group rate of 10 or more is $5.00 per student or child and $8.00 per adult. There is not a family rate. For more information see the Field Trips page.

How can I pay for admission?

The Museum accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Where do people park when visiting the museum?

The Museum has extensive parking on the north side of the building, including bus parking. From I-94, take Exit 190 / Belleville Rd. Turn north on Belleville Rd. to Tyler Rd. Turn west on Tyler Rd., then north on Beck Road. Look for the airport entrance arch at D St., and turn left onto D Street. The Museum will be on your right. You’ll find the visitor entrance and ample parking on the north side of the facility. Or you may enter via Ecorse Rd. (on the north side of the Airport), by taking Ecorse Rd. to Beck Rd. south, to D St.

Does the Museum have a cafeteria?

The Museum does not have a cafeteria, but a booked group tour is welcome to use one of our classrooms for a bagged lunch. Visitors may bring food with them, but eating is only allowed in either a booked classroom, or outside, picnic style.

Are there any restaurants close to the museum?

Yes, there are many great places within a few minutes drive on Belleville Road.

When is the quietest time for my family to visit?

From September through May, the Museum can be busy with school field trips on weekday mornings. On most days, field trip visitors have left by around 1:00pm, so weekday afternoons are usually quieter. For the most accurate information, we suggest you call ahead to find out how many field trip visitors we expect to be here on the day you plan to visit.

Can I use my membership from another museum to visit the Yankee Air Museum?

Yes, the Museum participates in the ASTC Passport Program and the Michigan Activities Pass. You must be a member of a fellow ASTC museum to receive free or reduced admission.
