The Yankee Air Museum is hard at work with lots of restoration projects. Everything from ground equipment and vehicles to static engine displays and of course, aircraft. We have a full size DC-9 cockpit that will be turned into a functional flight simulator. We have an AT-11 Kansan undergoing a full restoration to flyable status. Our airpark is also filled with opportunities to come out and get your hands dirty preserving these examples of aircraft history for future generations.
For information on volunteering for these and many more restoration projects call David McMahon at 734-483-4030 or email him at david.mcmahon@yankeeairmuseum.org
We also have an Aircraft Requisition crew searching for aircraft to add to our collection. If you have the scoop on an unknown treasure or wish to donate something to our collection, please contact them at ernie.panizzoli@yankeeairmuseum.org
